The 2016 vintage of Zuccardi's Malbec Serie A is made from grapes grown in various vineyards in the Valle de Uco, including San José, Los Árboles, Tupungato, El Peral, Gualtallary, Vista Flore and La Consulta. It was fermented in concrete vats as well as second-use 500-litre French oak barrels that don't impart much flavour. There were 400,000 bottles produced in 2016. Aromas of dark fruit, smoke and oak. Pair with grilled meats.

Malbec food pairings: roast leg of lamb with herbs and garlic, grilled pork chops, roast pheasant.

Reviews and Ratings

From the Uco Valley in Mendoza, Zuccardi Serie A 2016 Malbec is sourced from different vineyards across the Valle de Uco (San José, Los Árboles, Tupungato, El Peral, Gualtallary, Vista Flore and La Consulta) and was fermented in concrete vats and used 500-litre French oak barrels. Look for a great concentration of ripe red plum, red berries, dark fruit and spicy flavours. Good acidity to match. Pair with grilled fare. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
