Zuccardi Brazos de los Andes Chardonnay from Mendoza is a fresh, medium-bodied white grown at high altitude in the Uco Valley, where cool mountain nights preserve the variety's natural vibrancy, delivering a nose of white peach, honeydew, and passion fruit with a gentle lift of toasted almond and a whisper of spice from restrained oak. The palate is sleek and precise, with juicy tropical notes giving way to a stony, flinty minerality on the crisp, focused finish. Serve it well chilled and enjoy it over the next several years, as it has the structure to develop gracefully through 2032. Third-generation winemaker Sebastián Zuccardi, whose Uco Valley estate was crowned the World's Best Vineyard three consecutive years running from 2019 to 2021, approaches every wine as a portrait of its specific place in the Andes. Fascinatingly, the Zuccardi story began not with wine but with engineering, as founder Alberto Zuccardi originally planted vines in 1963 simply to showcase a revolutionary irrigation system he had invented for the Mendoza desert, only to fall so deeply in love with viticulture that wine became the family's enduring legacy.
