Zonte's Footstep Excalibur Sauvignon Blanc from Adelaide Hills is a dry, light to medium-bodied white wine with a bright emerald straw color, revealing aromas of kiwi and lime, green papaya, wild basil and bell pepper with green berry, while the silky palate delivers crisp, refreshing tropical fruit notes and grapefruit zest with mouth-watering acidity and a lovely kiwi note from start to finish. Serve it chilled with grilled calamari with lemon and herbs, where the wine's fresh, fragrant character and zesty acidity complement the tender seafood while its wild herb notes echo the aromatics, or pair it with fresh goat cheese and arugula salad as the wine's crisp profile and white jasmine notes cut through the tangy cheese while harmonizing with the peppery greens. Winemaker Rob Dundon oversees production at Zonte's Footstep, an innovative South Australian winery founded in 2003 that has earned acclaim for crafting exceptional value wines from cool-climate sites, with this bottling showcasing the Adelaide Hills' ability to produce vibrant, food-versatile Sauvignon Blanc. This easy, versatile aperitif wine is amazing value and can be enjoyed now through 2027.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: grilled prawns, salads, roasted asparagus and goat cheese galette.
