Reviews and Ratings

Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted March 30th 17. In New York City from a paper coffee cup. Colour ruby red and dense colour. Light pink on the rim.
The aromas were muted but I could pick up a dark fruit aroma. To me this was not a burgundy style Pinot but rather an Oregon style Pinot. Lots of dark cherry and chocolate on the palate. Nice balance with flavours and tannin. "This is an estate bottled Pinot Noir low elevation 200 to 600 feet. Grown on volcanic and sedimentary soils. High toned red fruit . Rich textured mid-palate, black cherry, deep black fruit qualities earthy aromatics" 10 months 8% new French oak. We had sweet potatoe fries, fish tacos, cheese and mashed potato and grilled chicken. A very good food friendly
wine. I would buy it again.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
