From the Rhône Valley, a juicy, medium-bodied Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre red wine blend from the Côtes Du Rhône. Elegant with ripe dark cherry, blueberry, baking spice and dried wild herb flavours satiny smooth on the palate. Highly quaffable at this price. Pair with a meaty lasagne or grilled rib eye steak.

Food pairings: meat pizza, roast pheasant, Porchetta pork roast.

Reviews and Ratings

Xavier Vignon 2018 is a rich and smoky Southern Rhône Red blend of Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre. Lovely ripe blueberry, blackberry and spicy flavours silky and sensuous that linger on and on. The Grenache vines were planted nearly 100 years ago. Tannins are velvety. Elegant and well-priced below $18. - Community Wine Reviews
