Deserves every penny of this not so inexpensive price point. Common splurge and enjoy yourself: aren't you worth it? Deep, brooding aromas of black fruit, smoke and fleshy plums. Bring it on!

Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz food pairings: buffalo steak, angus beef, game, saddle of lamb chops, grilled lamb chops with olive oil drizzled over feta cheese.

Reviews and Ratings

Dan Trcka Wine Blogger rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

The Grey Label Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 from Langhorne Creek was much more pleasant in comparison to the Cab from Coonawarra region. The wine was medium to full bodied with nicely fragrant, fruity to integrated aromas of violets, cedar, chocolate and black berry. The tannins were refined and dusty (decant for 30 to 60 min) and the finish was medium to long. It should evolve nicely for more than 5 years, but is definitely ready to drink now. My impression: BEAUTIFUL, 91 pts. Tasted June23/10
