Reviews and Ratings

Louise Wilson - ISG Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Generous flavours of ripe blackberry, plum and black cherry with approachable tannins and a kiss of spice. Good value, from a reliably consistent label. Always a welcome guest at a backyard BBQ. Tasted July 2014.
Lisa rated this wine as 88/100
Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

An attractive bouquet of red berry fruits, peppery spice and mint. On the medium bodied palate this wine has juicy sweet fruit flavours with a balanced oak character, soft mouthfeel and a lingering finish.

Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

Un bouquet attrayant de baies rouges, d'épices poivrées et de menthe. Le palais r corps moyen de ce vin a une saveur juteuse de fruits sucrés avec un caractcre équilibré de chene, un sentiment doux en bouche et un fini durable.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
