Sweet chocolate notes on the nose and palate from oak aging. Full-bodied, smooth and deep with black fruit and some smoke on the nose of this Australian Shiraz. Anise and blackberry on the palate with a savoury note. Luna Shiraz is very aromatic and plush. This robust Australian red wine also has a splash of Barbera grapes in the blend to add more savoury notes to the wine. Pair with grilled meats.

Shiraz food pairings: grilled meats, cheesy pizza.

Reviews and Ratings

Made by Chalk Hill Wines, this Australian Shiraz is called Wits End only in North America to avoid confusion with Chalk Hill winery in California. Lots of spice, alcohol and smoke. This winery is in the heart of the McLaren Vale. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
