One of my favourite New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs year after year! It's herbal but not too grassy with a lovely lime lift through the mid-palate and finish. Crisp and refreshing. The grapes for this zesty white wine come from Rarangi, Benmorven and Taylor River regions. Minerality, umami, old foreshore, sea salt and lime aromas. This would be perfect with seafood and light-hearted conversation.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: grilled herbed chicken, pork tenderloin, hodge-podge, pasta.

Reviews and Ratings

Wither Hills' Rarangi 2016 is a single vineyard, vibrant and dry Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, South Island. Rarangi is a small coastal community, approximately a 15-minutes drive to Cloudy Bay. Look for fresh green peas, herb and mint flavours on this zesty Sauv blanc. Pair with grilled chicken. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
