Juicy and savoury dark fruit on this full-bodied Australian red wine. Black and fleshy purple plums and ripe berries dominate. Smooth. Great for a pepper steak.

Reviews and Ratings

The 2012 vintage of The Church Block is this wine's 40th anniversary having first been made under the Wirra Wirra label in 1972 by the late winemaker Greg Trott. This is a robust red wine blend of 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 16% Merlot grapes. The wine was then aged for 18 months in 70% French and 30% American oak barrels. - Community Wine Reviews
