A lovely oloroso sherry that's not as sweet as a cream cherry; rather it has a terrific dark nutty, black toffee goodness (thus Walnut Brown). Try this sometime instead of tawny port with hard cheeses, toasted nuts or crème brûlée.

Sherry food pairings: spice cake, crème brûlée, fruit-based desserts, pastries, fresh field berries in cream..

This is a lovely dessert sherry with a sweet (but not cloying), rich, full-bodied, dense palate of raisins, dried fruit, nutty walnut and sweet spice. A sipper sherry made from traditional Spanish dessert wine grapes: Palomino, Moscatel and Pedro Ximenez. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
