Rich and expressive, with grapes grown along California's north coast and central coast. Opens with jammy ripe blackberries and a decadent toasty oak finish. Terrific balance and a long finish on this Californian Cabernet with great restraint, yet not shy on flavour or character at all. Aromas of fleshy black plum and smoke. Supple, smooth and juicy. Pair with roast beef.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: pizza with meat, pork tenderloin, rare beef steaks, roast duck.

Reviews and Ratings

From California's North Coast, William Hill (2014) is an elegant Cabernet Sauvignon with intense black plum, black cherry, vanilla and smoke (from oak ageing) on the palate. Tannins are supple and the wine is so smooth. This wine won a Gold Medal at the 2015 San Francisco Wine Competition. - Community Wine Reviews
