Round and supple with soft acidity and some honeysuckle notes. I like it, but it's not typical Sauvignon Blanc with grass and herbal notes. A lanolin, lemon butter finish. Pair with seafood dishes.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: poached salmon, green salads topped with goat cheese, steamed shrimp.

Reviews and Ratings

Stratus was the world's first fully LEED-certified (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) winery from 2005. Wildass Sauvignon Blanc 2016 is crisp and mouth-watering with gooseberry, lime and fresh herb flavours on the palate. The wine grapes for Wildass Sauvignon Blanc was hand-picked and sourced from their vineyards in the Niagara Peninsula wine region. Pair with a goat cheese, arugula and spring greens salad. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
