Westcott Pinot Noir Rosé V.Q.A. from the Vinemount Ridge appellation of the Niagara Peninsula is a bone-dry, medium-light rosé made from 100% estate-grown Pinot Noir. On the nose it's bright and fragrant, with dried hibiscus, white peach, and a whisper of fresh ginger. On the palate it's crisp and juicy, with pomegranate, tangerine zest, a thread of crushed stone minerality, and a clean, lingering finish with lively acidity. Winemaker Casey Kulczyk crafts this from fruit grown on the Home Farm Vineyard high on the Niagara Escarpment, where the calcareous soils, containing twice the normal levels of calcium, give the wine its distinctive mineral backbone. Serve it well chilled now through 2027. Pour it alongside grilled lamb chops with a mint yogurt sauce, where the wine's acidity and delicate fruit cut through the richness beautifully, or try it with veal scaloppini and a lemon caper sauce for a pairing that lets the wine's citrus notes take the lead.

Pinot Noir Rosé food pairings: roast chicken, grilled lamb chops, veal scaloppini.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
