A smoky, lemon zest nose with lots of mouth-watering acidity on the palate for seafood. Medium-bodied and refreshing.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: avacado and shrimp verrines, bagel with smoked salmon and cheese, barbecued halibut with salted herbs..

Reviews and Ratings

Nicole Lewis rated this wine as 84/100 with the following review:

Okay, Austrian Sauvignon Blanc, not Gruner Veltliner. Let's get adventurous! This wine hails from an area between Graz and Maribor. It is a pale straw yellow wine that offers aromas of lemon, hay and a mineral element. It is a straight forward, medium-bodied crisp, lemony and grassy. It has a medium-long finish that replays the flavour profile. This wine would pair well with seared mahi mahi.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
