Volpaia 2015 is a medium-bodied Chianti Classico from the Tuscany wine region produced by Giovannella Stianti. This wine is an elegant blend of organically grown 90% Sangiovese and 10% Merlot and Syrah grapes. Barrel aged in large French oak casks for 12 months result in a brilliant ruby colour with intense aromas and flavours of ripe red fruit, cherry, violets, leather, pepper, herbal, cedar, earth and smoke. The finish is long and fruit driven with a herbal lift.

Chianti Classico food pairings: tomato sauce, sun-dried tomato, baked fruit, spaghetti and meatballs, Bocconcini salad pizza.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
