Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

I started admiring this wine from the moment it was being poured in my glass. This Cab Sauv has a bright clear deep ruby appearance with thick slow moving legs coating the inside of your glass whenever you give it swirl. Clean complex and pronounced aromas hit me before I even got too close to the glass. It's developing aromas include: ripe black plum, cherry, jammy raspberry, cassis, baking spice and (later) a touch of dried figs/dates and cedar. This wine is off-dry (6g/l) with balanced fruit flavours (intense), acidity (med +) and tannins (high). The dominant flavours include: cherry, cassis, dried cranberry, baking spice, oak, cigar box, and a touch of earthy minerality. This wine has a long 'grippy' finish with a dominant baking spice note. This is almost 'meditation wine' to me because it's a meal in a glass, but I imagine it would pair with roasted red meats. Tasted Nov 2015.
The 2010 vintage of this Californian Cabernet Sauvignon is full-bodied with black fruit and oak aromas. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
