Volcanic Hills' Magma from British Columbia is a charismatic, full-bodied red wine offering notes of black plum, morello cherry, cardamom and menthol. This dry blend displays lush texture and layered complexity that will continue to develop over the next six years. Serve it at room temperature with meaty stews as the wine's powerful character complements the braised meat, or pair it with gourmet burgers where the wine's concentrated fruit stands up to the charred toppings. Winemaker Senka Tennant crafts this opulent wine from estate vineyards in West Kelowna and select parcels in Osoyoos, fermenting and aging each variety separately in a combination of French and American oak for twelve to sixteen months depending on the grape. The wine's espresso and allspice complexity showcase the quality possible from British Columbia's diverse Okanagan Valley terroirs. This generous, multi-faceted wine represents excellent quality and will drink beautifully through 2032.

Food pairings: meaty stews, gourmet burgers, chicken Kiev.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
