This is an attractive, voluptuous Spanish red wine from the heart of the Rioja region. Aromas of dark berries, spice, vanilla smoke and plums. Polished tannins with a good finish. Very balanced. Pair with grilled lamb.

This Spanish beauty has layers of ripe strawberry fruit, vanilla, and spice. Soft, round tannins, refreshing with a warming finish.
Pair this wine with casual fare from the grill. Great Value.
Drink now, or keep until 2017.
Date tasted: August 2015.
Produced by Seleccion de Familia Crianza, this Spanish red wine is made from Tempranillo grapes. The wine is aged for 16 months in French and American oak barrels. In 2004, this family started making wine in La Rioja. The bottle shape is inspired by the 18th century original shape. - Community Wine Reviews
