Reviews and Ratings

Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Offers an aroma of red and black fruit and spice. Pepper and herb flavors really come through on the palate with a nice complement of fleshy red plums and blackberries.
This robust Spanish red wine won a Gold Medal at the 2013 Intervin International Wine Awards. The 2011 vintage of Sein is a blend of 60% old vine Monastrell grapes and 40% young vine Syrah grapes. The wine was matured for 1 year in oak barrels. Monastrell provides richness, roundness and depth, while Syrah adds freshness and vibrancy to the wine. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
