Villa Sparina's Gavi di Gavi from Piedmont is a delicious, medium-bodied white wine offering notes of Meyer lemon, yellow plum, wild oregano and gentle spice. This dry wine displays well-rounded character and succulent texture that will continue to develop over the next six years. Serve it chilled with grilled shrimp as the wine's citrusy profile complements the charred seafood, or pair it with gnocchi with pesto sauce where the wine's buoyant nature balances the creamy herb sauce. Wimemaker Carlo Mazzei crafts this wine with intriguing aromatics including soft nectarine and fresh garden botanicals alongside a firm, crushed-stone structure. The wine's seductive fruit and luminous palate evolve gracefully into a sustained, flavorful finish. This balanced, food-friendly Gavi represents excellent quality and will drink beautifully through 2032.

Gavi Di Gavi food pairings: grilled shrimp, gnocchi with pesto sauce, grilled chicken with herbs.
