Charming! Full-bodied with cherry liqueur concentration yet completely dry. If you love New World wines such as Californian zinfandel and want to bridge to something just as tasty but less fruity from the Old World, this is your wine.

Tinto food pairings: standing rib roast, rotisserie leg of lamb.

Bright and expressive wine with an attractive nose of blue plum, violet, raspberry, coffee bean and vanilla. Dry and full bodied with soft-textured ripe fruit and spice flavours. Quite charming with the acidity, tannins and fruit playing off each other expertly. Excellent value. Could easily reward 2-3 years of cellar, or enjoy tonight. Source: Vintages Wine Catalogue.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
