a rich, earthy and robust Brunello Di Montalcino brute with dark plum, meaty, savoury spice and herb flavours on the palate. Tannins are chewy. Decant for two hours and pair with all things game, venison stew and sausages or hold in cellar for two years to tame the beast.

Brunello Di Montalcino food pairings: sundried tomato and fresh basil sauce over fusilli, ratatouille and shell pasta with tomato sauce, linguini marinara.

Reviews and Ratings

Val Di Suga 2013 is a full-bodied, robust and a big red brute of a Brunello Di Montalcino from the Tuscany wine region. Layers of ripe black fruits, dried fig, plum anise, ginger, white pepper and cedar spice, orange zest flavours finishing long on the palate. Tannins are chewy and there is great acidity for food on this big Italian red. Pair with a game roast or roasted root vegetable stew. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
