Mocha and sweet chocolate and coffee-espresso on the nose from lavish oak aging. Black fruit on the palate of this Italian red wine. Full-bodied and smooth and delicious. This wine previously won a Gold Medal at the Sélections Mondiales des Vins in Montreal. Try with hamburgers and all the fixins.

Sangiovese Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: hamburger.

Reviews and Ratings

This wine previously won a Gold Medal at the Sélections Mondiales des Vins in Montreal. Dark chocolate aromas and flavours: tastes sweet though is technically dry. This robust, smooth Italian red wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese grapes. Vanilla smoke, spice and mocha on the finish. The Umberto Cesari winery celebrates its 5-year anniversary in 2016 for being named Italian Winery of the Year at the International Wine & Spirits Competition in London. Pair this wine with a hearty bolognese sauce. - Community Wine Reviews
