Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Verdicchio is considered one of Italy's great dry white wines. Hailing from a region with a rich medieval history on the beautiful Adriatic coast, the names seems intimating to recite, but wines are crisp, easy drinking and refreshing. The Umani Ranchi is produced from old vines - "vecchie vigne" - showing pronounced peach, citrus, floral and mineral notes. This wine is medium bodied with high mouthwatering acidity and an intense (long) lemon finish. Enjoy this wine with fried smelts or calamari. Tasted at the Vancouver International Wine Festival 2016.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
