The 2023 Tyrrell's Hunter Valley Series Semillon, from New South Wales, is a dry, medium-bodied white that shines with its vibrant apple, sun-warmed hay, and delicate herbal notes. The wine also reveals hints of lanolin, honeyed melon, lemon peel, and a touch of minerality, delivering a smooth and lively mouthfeel, all with a refreshing 10% abv. This expressive wine is best enjoyed chilled and pairs wonderfully with grilled chicken skewers or a light seafood pasta.

Semillon food pairings: pan-fried panfish, salads, fish tacos.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
