Complex, full-bodied and delicious! Loaded with black fruit flavours yet it's very dry and balanced, with a lovely long finish. Great dinner party wine. The "gnarly dudes" refer to the old, twisted grapevine trunks that are illustrated on this wine's label. This is a classic red from the heart of the Barossa Valley. Serve this at a dinner party featuring a hearty meat dish, and listen to the murmurs of appreciation. Superb craftsmanship!

Shiraz food pairings: black bean soup, lamb cutlets, beef brisket, grilled steaks.

Reviews and Ratings

Two Hands is one of the best-known names in premium Australian wine, and this Shiraz shows why. Deep and intense with big aromas and flavours of blackberry jelly, plum sauce and woodsmoke. The fruit is impressively ripe and the texture impressively smooth, with just the right amount of tannin giving nice closure. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, Aug. 2013
