A medium-plus-bodied and fresh Malbec-driven, Bonarda and Syrah red wine blend and excellent value under $20. Produced by Trivento. Look for bright red fruit, ripe dark plum, dark cherry, fine herbs and pepper spice flavours matched with zesty, food-friendly acidity. Pair with grilled pork chops.

Malbec Bonarda Syrah food pairings: robust dishes of beef, pork or lamb.

Reviews and Ratings

Trivento Amado Sur 2018 is a full-bodied red wine blend of Malbec, Bonarda and Syrah. Stellar value at $17. Mouth-watering with fresh, lifted blackberry, blueberry, light herb flavours on the palate and very firm tannins. Pair with bison burgers and lamb kebabs. Trivento is one of the largest wineries in Mendoza and is a project of Chile's Concha y Toro. - Community Wine Reviews
