Bottle size: 750 ml

Natalie's Score: 91/100

A dark, brooding red wine with savoury, meaty aromas and flavours. Notes of blackberries and cassis wrap themselves around grilled meats. Good finish with lots of chocolate and mocha from generous oak aging. This winery is located in the center of California's Central Coast, Paso Robles, and the vines for this wine grow in calcareous soils. Pair with a t-bone steak.

Food pairings: hearty meat dishes.

Tasty blend of Cabernet and Syrah from Paso Robles, this wine is designed for maximum enjoyment this BBQ season. Absolutely lovely! A must try! 93 points. Tasted March 2015. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
This Californian red wine blend practises strict clonal selection of its grapes and uses progressive vineyard methods and viticultural diversity. This is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah grapes. - Community Wine reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
