The grapes for this lusciously ripe Spanish Cabernet Sauvignon grow on vines planted on the belvedere on the Mas la Palana estate. Aromas of blackberry jam, dark spice and some pepper. Pair with grilled meats.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: lamb Bolognese, grilled New York strip loin, hard cheese, braised pork shanks, veal chops.

Reviews and Ratings

Jacky Blisson rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Attractive blackberry, cherry, and spice notes with subtle, underlying spice and cigar box aromas. Dense and velvetty on the palate, with fresh acidity, moderate concentration and firm, grippy tannins framing the finish. By no means a blockbuster of power, depth or complexity but offers lovely balance, and at a 20$ retail, represents super value.
Stephan Abraitis rated this wine as 90/100
Alister Maclean rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Has a good lively but not unpleasant lighter finish. I feel its worth around $12 so overpriced at close to $19
