Juicy, dark and delicious! Big black fleshy fruit wrapped in a smoky blanket. Terrific for this price. The finish is saturated with dark fruit flavours and aromas that provoke the desire for another glass. A perfect pairing for Game of Thrones.

Celeste Crianza food pairings: grilled steak, pork chops, lamb.

Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Deep, dark and delicious. Full bodied dark fruit, vanilla, toasted oak and floral notes on the nose and repeats on the palate. Smooth tannins. Long cherry finish.Enjoyed with grilled lamb chops. BBQ steak, hamburgers, beef fajitas would pair nicely too. Salud!

just great
Terry Jeans - Certified S rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is a full-bodied, rich wine from one of the biggest producers in Spain. Dark, ripe fruits with vanilla and oak with medium tannins and acid, well-balanced. For the price, this is a good value wine that goes perfectly with a roast, burgers, or a juicy steak. It is a vintage wine in Ontario, but always available at the SAQ.
Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

Intense blackberry colour. Spicy and intense nose, with liquorice and black pepper hints on a base of well ripened fruits (blackberry and cherry). On the palate, very fruity at first with ripened tannins, also persistent and full bodied. This wine pairs well with a great variety of meat dishes including roast and small game.

Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

Couleur intense de mures. Nez intense et épicé avec des touches de réglisse et de poivre noir sur une base de fruits bien murs (mures et cerises). En bouche, il est trcs fruité au départ avec des tannins bien murs, trcs persistant et charnu.

Few monikers stir the passions of lovers of Spanish wine like the legendary name Miguel Torres. This Tinto Fino (aka Tempranillo) is sourced from an altitude of 895 metres – hence the cosmological allusion in the name. Packed with fresh plum and cherry accented by vanilla and floral notes, this solidly built wine will be a star performer. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, Jan. 2013
