Reviews and Ratings

Trevor Sabourin - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

The incredible thing about this wine is that it is huge, complex, and intense, yet remarkably fresh, elegant, and floral all at the same time. The nose shows powerful, perfectly ripe blueberries and blackberries, beautiful, pure violet tones, fresh mint and white pepper, and suggestions of vanilla, leather, and sweet black olives. There is a touch of licorice and cocoa on the palate. The tannins and acidity are both medium-high, but are well integrated and seemless. Long, intense finish of pure dark fruit, violet, and minerals.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
