Toi Toi Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough's South Island is a medium-bodied, certified sustainable white with an instantly appealing nose of green mango, dried elderflower, crushed stone, and a cool saline edge from Marlborough's long, breezy growing season. The palate is juicy and precise, with lemon curd, white grapefruit, a thread of fresh fennel, and a long, persistent finish with lively, mouth-watering acidity. Winemaker Ant Mackenzie, who brings nearly three decades of New Zealand winemaking experience to the role, took over from the founding winemaker at this family-owned brand, established in 2006 by the Joyce and Bonner families and now one of New Zealand's top 25 wineries by volume, among the first to produce a sparkling Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Serve it well chilled now through 2027 with seafood chowder, where the wine's bright acidity cuts through the richness, or try it with grilled prawns and a herbed goat cheese salad for a summer pairing that earns every sip.
