A superb, well-priced BC Riesling with aromas of wet stone, petrol and lemon zest. Pair with fresh seafood. Lots of juicy, mouth-watering acidity.

Reviews and Ratings

Terry Jeans - Certified S rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This is a zesty, mouthwatering Riesling from the View Winery in the Okanagan Valley. It has some fragrant aromas of lemon zest, yellow kiwi and a little chemical note. On the palette, it is lighter bodied, with a fresh acidity that is extremely food friendly, and I would enjoy this with a german sausage or with spicey Thai food, but is fine all on it's own
Wine Align 2016 - Silver
The View Winery boasts spectacular views of Kelowna and Okanagan Lake. Sandy loam soils combined with long hot summer days and cool evening breezes from the lake are perfect conditions for The View’s signature fresh, fruity, aromatic wines. Originally built by Great Granddad Ward in 1922, the building in which we craft and cellar our wines was once the original Ward’s Apple Packinghouse and is the last from its era in the Okanagan. For five generations our family has supported a commitment to tradition, authenticity and excellence. Our alluring wines point to the future and celebrate the past.

Riesling 2014 boasts intriguing complexity with aromas of pear, white peach, kiwi and lime citrus. Pleasing notes of slate minerality, typical of Riesling grown in our South Kelowna terroir are complemented by flavours of apple, pear and citrus.
