Reviews and Ratings

The most recent previous bottling of this just-bottled Scotch received 94.5 points in Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible, 2013 edition. Pleasant and engaging on the nose with aromas of pralines, honeyed graham crackers, butterscotch, dried apricot and light peat smoke. The mouthfeel is smooth and round and carries a bit of a bite – more of a smoldering fire than a blazing flame. It closes with a long butterscotch-and-smoke finish. A few drops of water will bring out saltwater taffy notes. A real beauty. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, March 2013

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
