Reviews and Ratings

Timo @Wineshout reviewed this wine as follows:

The Cab, aged 16 months in French and American oak barrels, comes from estate vineyards in Summerland. It clocks in at 13.8% alcohol.

On the palate, there’s an abundance of cassis, soft sweetness of baking spices, sweet black liquorice, and old-school tobacco.

Flavors of dark raspberry, cassis, oak-born spices, and just a hint of tobacco. The tannins are nicely balanced, and the oak and fruit played nicely off each other. Even with the alcohol at just short of 14%, the wine is soft and elegant.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
