Simply stunning! This Washington State red wine delivers on every dimension: depth, richness, complexity and length on the finish. This is only the second year that this wine has been produced. The 2014 Syrah The Pundit is a robust blend of 88% Syrah, 6% Grenache and the remainder Mourvèdre grapes. The wine was matured in primarily French oak barrels. Pair with grilled meats.

Syrah food pairings: grilled steak, tortellini, pasta and rich tomato sauce.

Reviews and Ratings

From Tenet Wines, The Pundit (2014) is a full-bodied, red wine blend made from mostly 88% Syrah, 6% Grenache and the balance in 4% Mourvèdre and 2% Viognier. Pair this one with a stuffed, beef flank steak. - Community Wine Reviews
