Juicy, fleshy and succulent Australia red wine with a long finish. The grapes for this robust Australian red wine were basket pressed, and the wine itself was aged in new and second-use French oak barrels. Classic Shiraz with aromas of purple and black fleshy plums and spice. Pair with roast beef.

Shiraz food pairings: kangaroo tenderloin, bison burgers, rare rib steak.

Reviews and Ratings

The grapes for this robust red Shiraz from the Adelaide HIlls were basket pressed hence the name for The Lane Single Vineyard Block 14 Basket Press (2015). This 100% Shiraz is a classic, deep, broody ruby purple, with 10% whole bunches and 90% destemmed wine grapes fermented and the wine juice aged in new and second-use French oak barrels. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
