Reviews and Ratings

The 2008 Hess Allomi Cab offers up some serious depth amid layers of bold, flavor-filled dark fruit and rounds out with an overall intensity that is both engaging and demanding. On the nose you can expect blackberry and cherry with a solid splash of vanilla. The palate profile reveals a second wave of blackberry, plum, and currant wrapped in peppery overtones. This is a red wine that can handle the richer flavors of gorgonzola. Source: Stacy Slinkard, wine.about.com
