Reviews and Ratings

The Hess Collection 19 Block Mountain Cuvée (2013) is a Californian red from Mount Veeder in the Napa Valley. The wine is a red wine blend, heavy in Malbec (61%) with 33 % Cabernet Sauvignon and the balance in Petit Verdot. The wine is a deep purple in the glass with notes of fleshy black fruit, liquorice and spice. Tannins are easy and the wine has enough acidity to fruit balance to cellar for five or more years. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
