A silky, smooth, medium-bodied Ontario red wine made from Gamay Noir grapes. This has six years bottle age on it now as of this tasting and is showing well. Aromas of black cherry and raspberry.

Gamay food pairings: charcuterie plates, proscuitto wrapped roasted asparagus, slow roasted chicken or turkey.

Bright ruby color. Nose of fresh cherry and raspberry with spicy, earthy notes in the background. Palate is light and fruity; a simple style with freshness and purity. Pretty fruit structured by good acidity and a bit of grip from tannins.

Fermented in stainless steel, 21-day primary fermentation for extended maceration. Aged 24 months in neutral French oak barriques prior to bottling.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
