Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Arran's single malt Scotch is un-peated, allowing the barley, citrus, and burnt sugar notes to shine bright. Creamy smooth texture with butterscotch, vanilla, and sherry notes on the long clean finish. Delicious value-priced single malt that would be great to enjoy over the fall and winter. Tasted October 2016. 90 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Here we have a smooth value-priced Single Malt from the Isle of Arran. The nose shows moderate aromas of vanilla, baking spice, candied orange peel and apricot. Single malts with younger age statements typically feature more pronounced heat and spice notes (less perceived alcohol integration), but this full-bodied 10yr Isle of Arran is showing a beautifully balanced alcohol integration. The flavours on the palate show enticing orange and vanilla sweetness with a long sweet spice finish. I profile this Single Malt toDave Broom's "Fruity and Spicy" flavour camp. It's a wonderful buy for the beginner or (somewhat) everyday Scotch sipper. Tasted Oct 2016. @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
This unchill-filtered scotch is produced by Isle of Arran Distillers and is the only distillery on the Isle of Arran. The spirit is then aged in both Bourbon and Sherry casks. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
