Reviews and Ratings

From Tuscany, Super Tuscan, Tenuta San Guido Le Difese (2014) is a red wine blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Sangiovese. Harvest of the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes for this wine started in late September to late October. Grapes were handpicked and selected. Maceration of the grapes took 12 days for the Cabernet Sauvignon and 15 for the Sangiovese. After malolactic conversion, the blended wine aged in secondary use barrels for 12 months. Oak barrels were previously used for Guidalberto and Sassicaia. - Community Wine Reviews
