Natalie's Score: 89/100

A deep, dark, smoky and intense Malbec with smoky black currant, black pepper, concentrated blackberry and blueberry flavours on the palate. Fresh and rich with a touch of spice. Nicely done. Pair with a grilled Denver steak or roasted root vegetables with a touch of dark berry balsamic.

Malbec food pairings: pork roast with cranberry and cherry stuffing, pork roasted vegetables and cider stew, pork loin with prunes and sherry.

From Fincas Patagónicas, Tapiz Alta Collection 2017 Malbec is great value under $20. Deep and dark in the glass, full-bodied with ripe plum, blueberry, smoke and cracked black pepper flavours. Drink or hold. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
