From Mâcon in Burgundy, an elegant and warmer Chardonnay with fresh pear, green apple freshness and soft lemon citrus flavours on the palate. Great acidity for food, chill and pair this dry, medium-bodied Chardonnay with richer fish dishes like Dover sole and a buttery roast chicken.

L.J. Palmer WSET 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Medium gold white Burgundy from Mâcon, the warmer region of Burgundy. My tasting group found it to be a soft, smooth, dry and balanced wine with a pronounced aroma of apples, pears, soft sweet lemon and a hint of melon with a touch of spice from gentle oaking. In the mouth the apple, pear ,lemon predominated with a faint spice note. Lovely to sip on its own; great with roast chicken or chicken brochettes or soft cheese.
Cuvée Joseph Talmard 2017 is a lovely dry, weighty Chardonnay from the warmer wine region of Mâcon in Burgundy, but still with that classic fresh pear, green apple freshness and lingering lemon/lime zest on the palate. Mouth-watering acidity for food, chill and pair with richer fish dishes like Dover sole. - Community Wine Reviews
