Reviews and Ratings

Certified carbon neutral, Tahbilk 2015 is a dry, medium-bodied, fleshy Cabernet Sauvignon with blackberry, black currant, olive and savoury herb flavours. MINE: From Nagambie Lakes in Victoria, Tahbilk 2015 is a dry, medium-bodied, fleshy Cabernet Sauvignon with blackberry, black currant, olive and savoury herb flavours on the palate. Tahbilk traces its winemaking roots back to 1860 with the founding of the winery estate and vineyards. It was purchased by modern day owner winemaker's great grandfather Reginald Purbrick in 1925 and since then five generations of the family have been involved. OTHER: Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review: Amazing, a touch mentholated, the blackberry and cherry fruit cool and not overbearing. Acidity in balance. A hit of spice and dried flowers. A touch of herbs. 91 Points. OTHER: From 28ha of estate vines dating back to '49, matured for 18 months in predominantly French oak. In typical Tahbilk fashion, medium-bodied and well structured, has blackcurrant fruit, bramble, earth and bay leaf inputs at various points along the journey. Taken together, the fruit swells in the mouth, asserting the great value this wine offers. Drink By: 2031. Score - 91 (James Halliday, winecompanion.com.au, Nov. 1, 2018). - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
