A dark, deep and full-bodied red wine blend of Mourvèdre, Syrah, Grenache and Counoise. Planted in limestone soils of western Paso Robles by the French Perrin family of Chateau Beaucastel fame and are sustainably farmed. Earthy violets on the nose with dark cherry, berry, anise and fresh cracked pepper flavours finishing spicy on the palate. Tannins are velvety.

Food pairings: three-cheese pizza, tomato and herb stuffed pork chops, savoury pot pie.
