Reviews and Ratings

Dan Trcka Wine Blogger rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

The 2012 Sunnybrook Estate Blossom Series Pear Wine has fruity and floral aromas of pear and quince. It is a light bodied, medium-dry, fruity wine; BALANCED with refreshing acidity and a medium, clean finish. With 11% alcohol, have a glass or two early in the afternoon on a patio. My impression: quite NICE, 86-87 pts – fine example of this fruit wine style and hence recommended for its quality. Tasted in May/14.

See my wine recommendations readily available at the LCBO here:

Sunnybrook is renowned for it's fruit wines that range from raspberry to cassis to this wine, especially since it is Canada's first fruit winery. All wines are made with fruit grown locally. The winery also makes a strong range of dry table wines from classic grapes such as cabernet, chardonnay and riesling. - Community Wine reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
