Sunday Sail Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough is a dry, medium-bodied white wine revealing fresh, mouth-watering aromas that touch all the Marlborough bases with nice weight and food-friendly texture, offering rich tropical fruit, generous guava and papaya atop savoury herbs and pinpoint minerality with grapefruit zest, citronella and eucalyptus notes. Serve it chilled with grilled fish tacos with mango salsa, where the wine's lifted character and tropical fruit complement the fresh fish while its bright acidity cuts through the creamy toppings, or pair it with Thai shrimp spring rolls as the wine's herbal notes and mouth-watering acidity harmonize with the lemongrass and mint in the rolls. Winemaker Matt Thomson oversees production at Sunday Sail, a Marlborough label that crafts approachable, food-friendly wines capturing the fresh, lifted qualities of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, like a sailing breeze across the bay. This wine should be enjoyed now through the end of 2026.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: tempura vegetables, salads, potato cakes, fish tacos.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
