Vintages Wine Panel: This supple Merlot comes from the Black Sage vineyard and shows why wines from this property are so desirable. Aged in a combo of French and American oak for 18 months, this latest Merlot is brimming with ripe black fruit, licorice, smoke, mocha and savory herbs. Dry, medium full-bodied with a round texture and enough tannins to balance the soft fruit flavors. My note: Quite frankly, one of Canada’s best Merlots. Rich, dark, brooding with lovely velvety layers of black plums, blackberries and some dark spices on the finish. A superb effort.

Merlot food pairings: grilled lamb chops, roasted pork tenderloin.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
